Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is Out Now on a Brand-new Console!

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin has been in a weird position for quite a while. It's predecessor found massive love from a select few fans who adored the premise of capturing monsters rather than hunting them (a first for the Monster Hunter franchise), but the title was exclusive to either the Nintendo 3DS or the Apple Arcade for all of this time. After finding a home on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Steam, the sequel is available for a lot of other players... but that isn't the only title that can be enjoyed by a new audience.

This sequel finally released on a brand-new console after garnering a lot of success on Steam. As fans put it on the official Launch Trailer in the Monster Hunter YouTube channel: prepare for a roller coaster of emotions! It's a story-heavy spinoff to the mainline franchise focusing instead on a heartfelt narrative that many adored, and it's gotten the eager fans hoping for the release of a third instalment into the niche franchise.
