Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate Comes to Nintendo Switch
The highly anticipated follow up to 2016s Monster Hunter Generations, Generations Ultimate, is set to launch exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on August 28th 2018. For the first time, players will be able to play both local and online multiplayer with up to three other hunters against the series' largest roster of unique monsters. Generations Ultimate seeks to take a nostalgic look back at where it all began and how it has changed, while still mixing in new twists to the gameplay.
Hunters will need to not only seek out monsters for quests, but also be prepared to defend the game's four villages from major threats known as the Fated Four, as well as an even more dangerous Elder Dragon. There is also a new quest level called "G" rank that features formidable versions of familiar foes, truly testing players' skill and tactics. Generations Ultimate brings two new Hunting Styles: the Brave Style which rewards players for landing successive attacks and the Alchemy Style which grants the ability to craft support items during combat.
Owners of the original Monster Hunter Generations will be able to transfer their save data to continue their journey in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate.
