Missile Command: Recharged, Back and Ready for More

The classic Missile Command has been brought back from the ether with a more futuristic feel. Missile Command: Recharged, will be released for Android devices, iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. Atari is saying that this game will be free to download with ads, and like many games, players can make a one-time purchase to become ad-free. It is said to be released sometime this spring.

Atari and Nickervision Studios announced the reinvented Missile Command in time for the 40th anniversary of the arcade classic. It's a perfect reimagining of the classic game, aimed at being a "perfect pick-up-and-play title for short high-intensity gameplay sessions." - Tony Chien, VP of Marketing for Atari.
