Mirror's Edge TV Series to be Produced
With the long-awaited second game in the series, Mirror's Edge Catalyst, coming on June the seventh, Mirror's Edge is set to get an universe expansion by way of a TV show based on the game. The series, which was created by DICE and published by EA, has taken a fair bit of time between games, but with the new title, a huge deal of hype and expectation has arrived, and alongside it, is the proposed TV show.
Speaking in Deadline Hollywood, Sharon Hall, President of Endemol Shine Studios stated:“We clearly see Mirror’s Edge as a franchise for the global TV audience,” . “It has a strong female protagonist, a wildly rabid fan base and a worldwide brand that Electronic Arts and EA DICE have done an amazing job establishing.”
The televisual rendering will be taken care of by Endemol Shine Studios, who are the scripted division of Endemol Shine North America. They have previously produced such hit shows as Kath and Kim, The Office and Riot. No details on cast or plot have been revealed yet, but we will report on those as news comes in.

If it's on the right network I can see it working. Whether it'll last a season or two, really depends on production values.
