Minecraft's PSVR Support Is Available To Play Now!
Mojang Studios have announced that Minecraft will support PlayStation VR; joining the likes of the Oculus Rift, Windows Mixed Reality, and Gear VR headsets.
Confirmed earlier this month on the PlayStation Blog, the open-world voxel phenomenon was to be heading to our PSVR sets later in this month, and that day has come!
...it’s Minecraft, but in stellar VR. It is 100% the same Minecraft game that you can play every day, every week, every month, every year…on PlayStation 4. Nothing removed. 100% wholesome & pure full-fat Minecraft.
It's also worth mentioning that there will be two distinct ways to play Minecraft in the VR update: "Immersive" and "Living Room" modes; with the former acting as a point of view control of your avatar, and the latter as if you were viewing the game on an in-game TV screen.
The upgrade is available for free for those who own Minecraft on PlayStation 4 consoles.
