Mighty No. 9 Release Dated and Demo Available for Backers

Mega Man fans have been waiting patiently for the delayed launch of spiritual successor Mighty No.9 for quite some time now. Originally shown off back in 2014 with with an estimated release date of April 2015, the game has been delayed a number of times, much to the frustration of the fans who helped fund it via Kickstarter.

The development team issued an announcement via their official website, to let fans know that the game will be available early next year:

"We have a very important announcement today!

Comcept and our partners at Inti Creates and Deep Silver have been hard at work clearing up
any remaining issues with the online modes included in Mighty No. 9. As a result of their progress, we are now able to 
officially announce our release date!

Mighty No. 9 will release in North America on February 9th, 2016 and will release for the rest of the world on February 12th, 2016.

We are looking forward to delivering this game to our fans, especially all of our backers!"

In addition, a demo of the game was promised to backers as a way to thank them for their patience; this also now available. If you are a backer and you'd like to download the Special Demo Version then all you need to do is sign in to the humble bundle website with the email that you used on Kickstarter.
