Microsoft's Games with Gold in June
Microsoft is giving Xbox One owners two free games in June along with a third title being added to the now regular Xbox 360 offerings.
Xbox 360 owners with an Xbox Live Gold membership can download open world, action RPG Dark Souls from the 1st to the 15th of June and the 2D side-scrolling zombie beat-'em-up Charlie Murder from the 16th to the 30th of June. As well as these, Microsoft is celebrating a year of Games with Gold by giving eligible owners a third game in the form of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition which will also be available for download from the 16th to the 30th of June.
Xbox One owners with an Xbox Live Gold membership will be able to enjoy Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Halo: Spartan Assault this month.
Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is a 2D side-scrolling platformer in which you play Max and must rescue your brother who has been kidnapped by the villain Mustacho. Halo: Spartan Assault is a top-down, third person shooter set between the events of Halo 3 and Halo 4 in story terms.
Microsoft hasn't announced when these Xbox One games will be available to download yet, but they are both going to be available in June, so I wouldn't expect to wait too long. Dark Souls can be downloaded on Xbox 360 now.
