Mew Coming to a Pokémon Special Event Near You

In the 90s, when it was first customary to catch 'em all, Mew was something of a legend. Initially only available through special events and not catchable in the wild, this was the Pokémon that every trainer wanted but only few had managed to obtain without hacking into the code of their cartridge. 

As part of the twentieth anniversary celebrations, players of Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Pokemon X and Pokemon Y can all head to GAME stores during February with their 3DS and obtain the mythical monster for their latest incarnations of the RPG series. Just head to the counter where you can obtain a special code at no charge. 

Alongside the digital version of the monster, there's a number of merch items being released in the image of the feline battler. A new plush toy, a t-shirt and a model of the Pokémon standing alongside a Pokéball are all being released at the same time and again, exclusive to GAME.
