Metal Gear Survive gets Release Date

Konami have announced the release dates for the next game in the Metal Gear series, Metal Gear Survive. 

Taking a step away from the series staple of a blend of action and stealth Metal Gear Survive will be putting players against horse of enemies in the survival genre. Set in an alternate reality where the remains of the now destroyed Mother Base,  survivors must battle against crystalline zombie-like enemies and find materials to find a way back to their own world. 

Alongside the announcement of the release dates a Day One Edition was also revealed which includes a number of digital goodies:

• Four gold-plated weapons
• Two additional gestures
• Four metallic survival scarves
• The “Kabuki” face paint
• A boxman “The Orange” accessory
• A Mother Base name plate.

Metal Gear Survive will be releasing on 20th February in North America and two days later in Europe on the 22nd February. It will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
