It's real. Metal Gear Online will return and will be part of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. As promised, Hideo Kojima stepped up to reveal the first gameplay trailer for the upcoming multiplayer component during The Game Awards 2014 in Las Vegas.
The new trailer gives us a good look at some of the features within the multiplayer. You'll be able to shoot the balloon of a fulton recovery trap and save your team mate, to using a cute puppy toy to distract the enemies, letting you get the jump on them. Vehicles are also included and more yet to be revealed, selfies included.
Metal Gear Online is being developed by Kojima Productions' studio in Los Angeles, and will be part of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain releasing in 2015.
