This new retro-built title gives players the opportunity to grow their SNES library once more with a title that'll also have a cause outside of your Nintendo screen.

The team likes to call Super Excidium Event "the SNES game that Reddit built", as the developer worked closely with the retro community to make something that would appeal to everyone, all the while supporting an important cause. Available for purchase directly via the Mega Cat Studios shop, eager SNES players will be able to enjoy Super Excidium Event for $59.99, with all of the profits from the sales going directly to the non-profit organisation Child's Play Charity.

The title itself follows age-old classic titles perfect for those looking to rekindle their retro love. Take control of the stationary satellite planted in the middle of the screen as you use numerous weapons to shoot at the waves of enemies coming from all corners of the screen.
