Meet the Talent Behind Still Wakes the Deep in New Minidoc
The cast and award-winning developer, The Chinese Room, have been hard at work on their upcoming narrative horror game: Still Wakes the Deep To promote the game and introduce the voice talent, they and publisher, Secret Mode, have released a brand new behind-the-scenes minidoc.
In this short five-minute video, Alec Newman, the Glaswegian actor with numerous voice credits to his name, including Adam Smasher in Cyberpunk 2077, discusses his role as protagonist: Cameron "Caz" McLeary. With more details regarding the story, Newman discusses how well-written, and well-conceived the story was, so he didn't have to have long conversations about how Caz should sound.
Newman isn't the only actor to join the cast. Neve McIntosh will portray Suze, Caz's wife, whom he fears he will never see again. You can hear her portrayal in the release date trailer, but together they are joined by:

With a voice cast directed by the likes of Kate Saxon and Damian Goodwin, this minidoc was filmed at SIDE Studios in London and The Chinese Room's Brighton studio. Still Wakes the Deep will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (available on Game Pass for both of the latter). You can pre-order physical PS5 editions now from all good retailers, so you can enjoy it on the 18th of June.
