Max, An Autistic Journey Out Now, Supporting ASD Charity
Max, An Autistic Journey is a retro-style RPG that puts you in the shoes of ten year old Max. He happens to be on the autistic spectrum, and battles "monstrous manifestations of emotions and anxieties". Take a look at the launch trailer above - the game is out now on Steam, Green Man Gaming, Gamersgate and Bundle Stars.
While it is yet to be seen just how well the game manages to represent ASD, part of the proceeds will go to the Miriam Foundation, a charity that supports people on the autistic spectrum to live fulfilling lives. Just how much of the game's profits will be headed to the charity is not clear, but it's great to see a game focusing so heavily on helping people.
