Marvel Rivals Reveals Latest Duelist Ahead of Release: Hawkeye

Marvel Rivals is reaching its anticipated release date of 5th of December rapidly, and the team seems to have picked up on reveals rather than slow down. Just last week, we got a look at the upcoming Moon Knight, as players will be able to take control of the Fist of Khonshu. Now, a new Duelist has joined the ranks, and it feels like a no-brainer that many were anticipating.

Hawkeye is going to join the launch cast of Marvel Rivals. A bow-wielding duelist, his playstyle will include heavy damage and even some melee weapons to even out his kit and give him some coverage in both range and melee. He is the 28th character announced and the 14th Duelist (meaning that officially, one-half of the cast are Duelists, whilst the other half are spread out between Vanguard and Strategist).

From what we got tosee, Clint Barton will sport a double jump to give him better positioning around the world with a sword to fight off melee combatants. Also in his kit are a pierce arrow that seems to go through enemies and an explosive one to deal AoE damage (and a good option for melee combat, too). His ultimate seems to make enemies leave a mirage of themselves in the back that he can shoot, giving him a still target to aim for and making his "never miss" statement as accurate as possible (though we do see him miss in the trailer... we don't talk about that).

As with all of the characters in NetEase's Marvel Rivals, Hawkeye will be free-to-play, as the team has stated that characters will all be free for players.
