Mario Strikers: Battle League Features Goals, Tricks and Tackles in New Trailer

Get ready for crazy over-the-top action when Mario Strikers: Battle League Football launches on the 10th of June 2022 on the Nintendo Switch.

The game features the new Strike mode — a five-on-five match that encourages players to do anything required to win, no matter the mayhem they cause on the field. Players get to select characters from the Mushroom Kingdom like Mario, Donkey Kong, Toad, and Peach to play against players online or play with up to eight players locally. You can help your team members knock down other players, cover extra ground, or grab the Strike Orb that Unleashes the Hyper Strikes, which earns your team two points. There are no fouls in Stike mode, so players can make their opponents regret facing off with them.

Protective gear is incredibly important in a game with no rules, so players will be able to equip flashy gear to improve their character's stats, like increasing speed or making them stronger to resist tackles. Players will discover that each character has their own signature Striker Style to use in the match.

Players will be able to battle online with their friends in the Strikers Club mode; this will allow you to join an existing club or create your own club with up to 20 strikers. Each club will have their own uniform to design, and playing in matches will earn tokens to spend on customising the club stadium.
