Mario + Rabbids Free Versus Mode is Out Now

Ubisoft have announced that their crossover title Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle will be getting a Versus Mode for free and it's out now.

The update will see players able to battle it out in a head to head mode via local play with two controllers (or one pair of Joy-Con controllers). There will be some surprises that are different from the main game and players will only get three actions per turn.

On top of that, characters in the mode will be upgraded versions to keep things balanced and provide new gameplay opportunities. There will be 16 different unlockable loadouts will also be included on top of the starter loadouts that each character will have. Lastly, players can have an all-Rabbids or all-Mushroom kingdom team. 

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle is available now for Nintendo Switch with the versus mode out now as well.
