Mario Party: Star Rush Trailer and Gameplay Debut

At the second E3 Treehouse presentation, Nintendo showed us an official trailer for the new 3DS Mario Party. We also got a world first look at some of the gameplay, including a brand new mode. Mario Party Star Rush is the latest title in the series and the second to come to Nintendo’s 3DS console. It supports up to four player local multiplayer and will see a number of new features.

One of the biggest changes that has been made is the speeding up of the gameplay with the Toad Rush mode. Instead of taking it in turns to move, players now move simultaneously across a non-linear board, meaning that something is going on at all times and players are never left idle. This adds a new dimension to the tried-and-trusted formula which has been in place for 12 games now. The title will be out on 4th November alongside a new range of amiibo, including a glow-in-the-dark boo.
