MangaGamer Announces Four New Titles
At Anime Expo 2018, Manga Gamer held a panel and tweeted that they'll be publishing four releases that fit to meet your GL, BL, and RPG tastes. Whether or not they meet your other tastes is best left underneath the table. No release dates were given, and all games are Windows unless stated otherwise.
Lilycle Rainbow Stage!!!
Originally starting an CD Drama series, Lilycle Rainbow Stage!!! (yes count those exclamation marks) by Particle is being made into a visual novel. Taking a slight spin on the visual novel experience, you play specific days to the story of one of the character's narrative and unlock further days in your calender to recount. A lighthearted and warming story, it's a must for yuri fans. Suitable for all ages, this will be available on Steam and MangaGamer's store. It'll contain Japanese audio with English text.
Luckydog1
Produced by Tennenouji, Luckydog1 is a BL visual telling the story of Gian’s encounter with a mafia's head honchos being put in the same slammer as him. CR:5 isn't going to take this lying down though, and if Gian can bust these new four inmates out, he'll nab himself into the mafia life. Whilst not on Steam, being 18+ it'll be sold on MangaGamer. This will be playable on Windows, Mac, and Linux, and will have Japanese audio with English text, uncensored.
Rance IX - The Helmanian Revolution
Rance is back, for his ninth instalment by Alicesoft. Rance IX - The Helmanian, Prince Patton must seek the aid of the legendary hero Rance in order to retake and revolutionise Helman from its current shambles of a corrupt regime. 18+ as always with Rance, and will be distributed on MangaGamer with English text, no voice acting, and will be uncensored.
Rance X - Showdown
As his final debut, and in quick succession, will have his tenth game released for the Rance series. Rance X - Showdown will take everything that's previously happened and crown him as ruler over humanity? With the Monster realm controlled by Kayblis, in two weeks humanity has lost 12 million lives and with their consistent squabbling their onslaught continues. With Rance taking the helm on the retaliation by getting the realm leaders aligned under him, a final showdown will decide the fate of monsters and humans. 18+ and only on MangaGamer with English text, no voice acting, and will be uncensored as per usual.
That's quite the release, whilst not for everyone per se. These are definitely interesting games to say the least. Do any catch your eyes? Float your boat? Comment below and remember only the first one can be played at work.
