Lord of the Ring Online Players Won't be Getting Any New Dungeons
Turbine Entertainment have recently confirmed that they are not developing anymore new dungeon instances or raids for the long-running free-to-play MMORPG, Lord of the Rings Online.
During a recent online event the following quote was pulled from chatlogs.
No new traditional instances and raids are being planned at this time.
- Rick Heaton, Community Manager.
It was also said that plans to update older zones in 2014 remain "a possibility" but there are no current plans to introduce player housing in the Rohan area. There are also no plans to merge servers as it is said that severe technical issues are preventing that from happening.
Helm's Deep, the fifth expansion to Lord of the Rings Online, launched in November. Helm's Deep focuses on Rohan, and contains five new areas in western Rohan. The expansion includes massive battles in which players will fight alongside Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli and King Theoden against Saruman's armies.
