Lizard Squad Member Avoids Jail Sentence
Julius Kivimäki. You might not have heard of the name, but you might be aware of his exploits.
The 17-year-old, based in Finland, is a member of infamous hacker group Lizard Squad, who claimed responsibility for the server issues that plagued PSN and Xbox Live last Christmas.
Julius has since been convicted of a staggering 50,700 charges of fraud, harassment and hacking activity, to name but a few. Despite the incredible number of charges, he has managed to successfully avoid jail time. He has instead received a two year suspended sentence, and a frequent monitoring of his online activity.
According to Finnish law, Julius could not be extradited to America to face prosecution, and has since been dealt with by the Finnish judicial system, although some may argue that the punishment does not fit the crime.

Not that my knowledge of the law is up to scratch but I'd imagine if he/they get charged for anything again, especially within the next two years, they'll be on the receiving end of a far harsher sentence.
