Listen to What the Crew Has to Say About Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden in New Trailer — Weight of Consequences

Focus Entertainment has released a brand-new trailer in their official YouTube channel where the crew behind Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden — including the voice actors Amaka Okafor & Russ Bain — talks about the consequences of the gameplay. We learn more about the banishing couple and how the actors, as players, interact and talk about the choices they'll have to make.

Learn about the prologue and the first main mission that banishers will have to embark on. This is the most narrative and writing we've gotten to see in any of the Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden trailers thus far. From the consequences of your actions to even what our main goal as players will be, this is a comprehensive look at the storytelling (and even a couple of gameplay elements, which are always welcome).

Warning: spoilers for the trailer and prologue ahead (included in the trailer above, for those who don't want to know anything of the game and go in blind).

Set in North America, Massachusetts, we'll take control of Red Mac Raith, a new Banisher who is being taught by his love, Antea Duarte. Though they are both experienced ghost hunters, she's far more formidable, leading the team while Red is the soft one (and the character players will take control of). Over the prologue, both characters will be facing a very powerful and unknown entity, the kind of which they have no clue as to how to defeat. Due to this, Antea perishes at the game's prologue, and it'll be up to Red to finish the mission... and ultimately decide what to do with the ghost of his love: give her the ascent, as his oath demands him to do, letting her go, or try to bring her back by trying to resurrect her, betraying everything the Banishers stand for.

DON'T NOD's upcoming Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden will be coming out on the 13th of February 2024, which was delayed from its original release date by several months due to the already packed year we had. You'll be able to play it on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
