Liberator Introduced For Legacy of the Void

Blizzard Entertainment has introduced a new unit for the upcoming expansion to Starcraft II. The Legacy of the Void, the third installment to Starcraft II, is currently undergoing closed beta testing and this time the update has come to the Terrans.

The Liberator is a high-cost air unit for the Terrans capable of doing aerial splash damage, much like the Valkyrie in the original Starcraft. This unit is also capable of attacking ground units in an area after an initial preparation with high burst single target shots.

With the focus on tweaking and adding new high tier units, Blizzard is hoping that this would diversify gameplay as players make choices as to which tech tree to go down, making games more interesting.
