Lethe Gameplay Trailer Revealed
After getting greenlit on Steam way back in April, first-person horror Lethe - episode one has just had its alpha gameplay trailer released.
The game's look and style has already drawn comparison with the classic Amnesia series, but will Lethe have the same ability to terrorize players? Both The Dark Descent and its sequel A Machine for Pigs are consider two of the scariest games ever made.
Lethe is described as featuring 'physics-based psychokinetic gameplay' as the only means of survival. Suggesting that - much like the recent Alien: Isolation and Outlast - the game's emphasis will be more towards stealth rather than confrontation.
The plot overview is as follows:
Crushed under the debts of his recently deceased step-father, Robert Dawn, a passionate journalist with an unremarkable career stumbles upon an early 20th century article with great potential. The article describes a pharmaceutical facility incident on an isolated island that nobody seemed to care about. After a thorough amount of research without any actual ties and facts he finds himself on his way to the island...
No word as of yet for an official release date. For more information see KouKou Studios website.

Agreed. Amnesia scared the bejesus out of me, this looks to have a very similar vibe.
