LEGO Dimensions Adds a "Hire-a-Hero" Feature
LEGO Dimensions is a great game with one big problem. The overabundance of additional packs required to be purchased in order get more characters.
Now, Warner Bros. Interactive and TT Tales have set to redeem this by introducing a new "Hire-a-Hero" feature. The new feature will allow players to play as all the Wave 1 characters within without the need of purchasing any additional characters. Only downfall they are only samples, meaning that you can only try them out for a limited amount time. Nonetheless, considering that the character packs cost £15, it is certainly handy when it comes to using their abilities to solve puzzles.
Also arriving 6th of November are five new expansion packs based on Doctor Who, Ninjago, The Simpsons and The LEGO Movie. These Wave 2 packs bring additional characters to the LEGO Dimensions universe, headlining with a new Doctor Who story level titled “The Dalek Extermination of Earth”. which sees the 12th Doctor (included in the pack) travel to London to stop an invasion of Daleks.
LEGO Dimensions even with just the starter pack alone, you’ll be in for a huge dimension jumping tale that is just a blast. For more read our review here.
LEGO Dimensions is now available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo´s Wii U.

Don't like the idea of a monthly subscription service. I'd prefer something like EA Access but from other publishers.
