League of Legends Releases New Spirit Blossom Cinematic for Season 2

With the official first season of League of Legends' new thematic-focused approach to seasons, it's time for summoners (blast from the past? no?) to say goodbye to Noxus and welcome a new region: Ionia... Though, this is all with a bit of a caveat, of course.

The second season for League of Legends is going to be none other than Ionia, and Riot Games is celebrating it by teasing the return of Xin Zhao. By returning to the first lands, players will be able to arrive in the Spirit Blossom season, one of the favourite themes by all.

The trailer is a music video created in partnership with THE LINE named "Here, Tomorrow", featuring Lilas and Kevin Penkin. More information on the official YouTube description gives players the opportunity to know everything about the credits of the song: writers, vocals, orchestras, and more — it's surprisingly in-depth!

Though this trailer officially deviates from the Fortiche cinematics that we've been seeing as of late, Spirit Blossom embraces the anime style that many have come to know and love. It's no surprise that the trailer accrued massive love and support from fans around the world, as it accrued over three million views in just one day, showing that everyone's eager to get to enjoy the second season.
