League of Legends Releases Anima Squad Pass — All Free Rewards, Premium Rewards, and Shop Items You Can Acquire

The League of Legends brand-new Battle Pass has arrived in the form of the Anima Squad Event, bringing forth it's event-exclusive PvE game mode and the pass we've all come to familiarise ourselves with. Here is everything you need to know about it!

Anima Squad Free Pass

The Anima Squad Free Pass contains 10 items that you can acquire, and you'll only have to get to level 40 to get it. At 400 XP per level, you'll need 16,000 XP total to be able to complete the pass and acquire all of the free rewards. The Anima Squad comes with 15 free missions and the Infinite Mission where you get points for playing and winning games, so it shouldn't be too much of a grind. Here are all of the rewards you can get for it!

Anima Squad Premium Pass

Priced at 1650 RP, the Anima Squad pass has 50 levels of rewards for you to get, alongside infinitely repeatable missions that give 20 Tokens per level. You'll need 20,000 XP to unlock everything, though completing it shouldn't be too hard of an issue if you only want the track rewards (more on the Shop items later). Here's everything you get for the Anima Squad Premium Track:

• 4 Anima Squad 2024 Orbs (first four are instant, and then you acquire them throughout the levels
• 2,000 Tokens (first 200 Tokens are instant, and then you acquire the rest on batches from 20 to 60 each level throughout the entire track)
• Early unlock Riven in Swarm mode (Instant)
• 3000 Blue Essence (2, 10)
• Anima Squad 2024 Battle Print Icon (4)
• Anima Squad 2024 Primordial Icon (6)
• 10 Win XP Boost (8)
• Hextech Key (12)
• two Mystery Emotes (acquired throughout levels 14 and 36)

Notably, the Grab Bag has, once again, been removed from the Premium Track after the backlash that brought it back a few passes back. Instead, we have the scaling Anima Squad 2024 DCapsule, which reveals three random skins and a 3.5% chance to get the Anima Squad 2024 Grab Bag, a 1% chance to get the Admiral Battle Bunny Miss Fortune Skin + Border & Icon, and a 0.05% chance to get a Mythic Skin. The more of these you buy, the more items you unlock, from summoner icons, random Anima Squad 2024 Epic Skins, three grab bags, and an assured Battle Bunny Miss Fortune skin after buying 30. The full 30-pack of these will cost you 22,500 (or more than the maximum amount of RP you can get from the shop without the Hall of Legends pass extra bundles that are available currently).

Anima Squad 2024 Shop

Finally, there are new items on the shop, and some that players might not be ecstatic about. The Anima Squad event will run from the 17th of July until the 20th of August, giving players just about four weeks to complete everything, and within the shop, you'll find two Prestige skins — one available for purchase and the other coming soon. Here are the shop items:

Completing the pass once will net you one of the Prestige Skins, but for the other, you'll have to farm it out through the repeatable missions, with each giving 20 points, meaning you need to complete it 100 times in order to get the second one when it releases. Notably, however, you cannot start farming for the second Prestige skin until you've finished the pass, as repeatable missions give XP and not Tokens, so you'll need to get through the first Premium Track before you start working on the second one.

Based on the calculations from my article a year ago (which are still accurate after a re-evaluation), you'll need 140 hours of playtime after completing the pass to unlock just the second Prestige skin without any additional purchases. If you wanted everything on the pass (excluding items from Loot and the 10 Blue Essence, which are more for those that are uninterested in the other items and want to get infinite items), you'd need to get a total of 11000 Tokens (with a lot of this being inflated by the 11 Chromas).This total is also taken with both Prestige items being included and none of the upcoming borders and chromas (as we currently have no way of knowing how many there will be).
