Landmark Server is Shut Down

2017 may be a year of hope and fresh start, for some just a continuation of bad things to come. Daybreak Game Company announced on the 5th of January, earlier this week, that the game servers for Landmark (formerly EverQuest Next Landmark) will be closing down along with removing everything associated with Landmark at 4PM Pacific Time on Tuesday 21st of February.

Between now and then:

• Player Studio will no longer be available.
• Landmark will not be purchasable.
• Items in the Marketplace will cost all 1 DBC (Daybreak Cash).
• Any purchased DBC in your general wallet is shared across most Daybreak Games on PC.

There isn’t going be to any forms of emulation or legacy fan support from Daybreak. It’s always going to be disheartening to hear of server based games being closed, whether or not it means staff have been reallocated or dismissed.
