Konami Remove Hideo Kojima's Name From MGSV Box Art
The now infamous dispute between Konami and Hideo Kojima has been well documented.
With Kojima set to leave Konami after the conclusion of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and with rumours of the closure of Kojima Productions, it's been a disappointing end to a long and successful relationship.
Konami have decided to rub some more salt into the already gaping wound, as all mention of Hideo Kojima and his studio has been removed from the box art of Metal Gear Solid V.
As you can see, the Kojima Productions logo has been removed from the bottom left hand corner and 'A Hideo Kojima Game' is no longer present at the top of the box.
The full details of the Konami/Kojima dispute are still unknown but there's certainly no love lost between both parties.
What we can be sure of is that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is set to release on PS4 and Xbox One on September 1st, with a PC version releasing on the 15th.

Yeah. The sooner MGSV releases and Kojima and his team leave the better.
