Knights of the Old Republic Remake Could Be In Unreal Engine 4, According to Recent Job Listings
Currently open job listings on Aspyr Media's careers page point towards the heavily rumoured STAR WARS - Knights of the Old Republic remake being an Unreal Engine 4 game. Job listings for several positions at the studio, such as Combat Designer or Lead Systems Designer, are explicitly asking for candidates with experience in both developing RPGs and working within Unreal Engine 4. While these listings make no direct mention of Star Wars, they do strongly suggest that Aspyr is working on a modern action RPG with a narrative focus set in a "rich and immersive world".
Speaking recently on the MinnMax Show (shown below), renowned journalist Jason Schreier confirmed that Aspyr Media is working on the remake of KOTOR which has been rumoured for years.

Aspyr Media has existing ties to Star Wars, having ported many of the franchise's videogames to other platforms, including the recent ports of the Star Wars Jedi Knight games and Star Wars: Republic Commando for the PlayStation 4 and Switch. The studio has even ported Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic to Android, iOS and Mac.
Aspyr Media was acquired by the Embracer Group in February of this year.
