Knack 2 Officially Announced

You may recall back in February, we reported on a possible sequel to PS4 launch title Knack. Well, thanks to a reveal at this year's PSX, we now know that Knack 2 is indeed a reality and we can play with the little shape-shifting relic dude once again. The new title will feature a co-op mode and, going by the trailer, more of the same bombastic gameplay as before.

The game wasn't a massive success, certainly not to the level that Sony had hoped for, so a sequel was always in doubt. Indeed, the developer announced that it was unlikely back in 2014, so fans of the series were expecting disappointment. Not much has been announced yet so we don't know when we will see the second game, but if it has indeed been in development for the best part of a year now, we're putting our money on summer 2017.
