Killing Floor 2 Krampus Christmas Event Starts

Tripwire Interactive is kicking off the festive season with a special Krampus Christmas event for Killing Floor 2. Despite there having been several Christmas periods occurring in the first Killing Floor, this will be a first for the sequel.

The update brings a new map called Krampus Lair where you will fight the beast himself, as well as enemy makeovers to give them a seasonal look. There are also two new firearms joining the roster, the UMP submachine gun, and the Freeze Thrower where you can reduce your enemies to a frozen pulp.

Alongside that comes new cosmetic options for your characters and weapons as well as new objectives and vault missions for you to complete. Many of these rewards are event-exclusive, so be sure to try and obtain them soon!

A full changelog of the event is available here along with the trailer. The Krampus Christmas event is expected to last for the next month but an end-date is currently unknown.
