Kickstarter of Note: Deliver us the Moon
As a rule of thumb, most things can be sent by post or courier in some way. For example, there's a website that allows you to post a message directly on a potato postcard for your friends. One thing that we couldn't find in our research though, was anyone who could deliver planetary bodies. That's what mankind in the year 2069 must resolve in order to survive.
Deliver us the Moon sees you as as a lone astronaut, trying to save humanity by using the resources of the moon after mankind has depleted those on Earth. It's an open world exploration adventure in both third and first person depending on your preference. Also up to your preference is the fate of mankind and the ending of the game, as the story is designed to be highly open ended. The game will be released episodically if successful, with the first part planned for August 2016 on PC and Xbox One. At the time of writing, the Kickstarter campaign has raised two thirds of the target €100,000 and with 22 days to go, we could very well be delivering the moon later this year.
