Kao the Kangaroo Announcement

Kao the Kangaroo is bouncing back onto our screens after a 17 year hiatus!

The lesser known marsupial mascot for PlayStation is leaping right into a summer 2022 release window. The reboot is being developed by Tate Multimedia, the team that is responsible for the original Kao the Kangaroo games back in the early 2000s. This family friendly platformer has you jumping around levels as a kangaroo donning some pretty handy boxing gloves to pummel Kao’s enemies into next week!

From the looks of the announcement trailer this is another satisfying platformer bursting with vibrant colours for you to feast your eyes on. The contrasting landscapes will have you collect coins and smashing boxes as you go, nothing that will reinvest the wheel, but it looks like great fun and what more do you need from a game like this?
