KaleidoGames Announces Full Launch of Slam and Roll in Launch Trailer
KaleidoGames' Slam and Roll has been in Early Access since the 22nd of May 2024, where the team has been working vigorously to add content.
After extraterrestrial invaders attack Earth's monuments, and traditional human weapons don't seem to work, it'll be up to the sports club, who are armed with enhanced sports equipment, to protect the planet! Together withDr. McLabby, you'll embark on a journey across over 200 stages with scrolling levels, eight worlds, and four game modes.
This tribute to 90's Stage Clear titles had its official release date announced on a brand-new trailer, showcasing the numerous gameplay elements. Play solo or co-op as you tackle the levels, with the trailer showing front-and-centre the arcade gameplay style that you'll partake in.
The title has been in development for over three years, and it's really tobe released to the public in its official release. Currently, the Early Access information states that Slam and Roll is ready for release, with only achievements planned to be enabled, having everything ironed out and things prepared and ready to head out.
Start your journey across the stages and then head into the endlessly replayable Chaos mode. With new stages every day, hundreds of levels to complete, and customisation to acquire, this might be the perfect 2D venture to jump into if you're itching for a retro-inspired platformer.
The official release date is on the 14th of November, and the price isn't planned to be changed any further after the release (following the previous price hike in September). You can get it for £12.99 on PC via Steam and the Nintendo Switch, with the Xbox release set to be the day after, on the 15th of November.
