Just Cause 3 Won't Launch with Multiplayer

Many of us are all excited with the announcement of Just Cause 3 from Developer Avalanche Studios but unfortunate to say it won't have multiplayer, at least not yet.

If you didn't know the PC version of Just Cause 2 had a fan-made multiplayer component, which was a huge success and kept players playing for years after the initial game release. So it would be a shame not to have the same experience in the next-generation of Just Cause. 

During with an interview with GameInformer Avalanche Co-founder Christofer Sundberg talked about the reason for the decisions.

"At some point you have to make a choice on where your focus is.Our strength is the sandbox experience, and we want to deliver a great Just Cause 3 experience"

He did however, go on to say about it's potential. 

"Maybe sometime down the line, we'll take Rico into the modern world of multiplaying."

So there it is highly likely that multiplayer will be making it's way to Just Cause 3, just not yet. But if it's anything like the Just Cause 2 multiplayer it will be worth the wait.
