It's the End of the Beginning in this New Tomb Raider Trailer

This week, Square-Enix, along with Eidos-Montréal and Crystal Dynamics, have released a new trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, showing us what we can expect later this year.

It is the third entry in the rebooted series, this time seeing Lara Croft stuck in a deadly jungle with a mission to save the world from the Maya apocalypse...whatever that entails.

Crystal Dynamics seem to be adopting a darker tone in this latest iteration, as Yosuke Matsuda, president and representative director of Square Enix alluded to, saying:

"Thanks to their incredible expertise, knowledge of the franchise and outstanding creativity, Eidos-Montréal, in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics, is delivering a powerful experience with Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Shadow of the Tomb Raider will take the series to new heights and Lara Croft to new depths."
