INTERPOINT - Update 1.5 Years in the Making Receives a Release Date
Three Dots, a three-person development studio, has been hard at work over these past 18 months, working on a major update to its puzzle/horror title INTERPOINT. The update, which overhauls many aspects of the moment-to-moment gameplay and adds three episodes of story content to the game, will release this month, January 2021. Check out the update's trailer above.
In INTERPOINT, players take on the role of Harry German, employee of Delta Laboratories. Following a disastrous project which was meant to benefit all of humanity, Harry finds himself the only person left in Delta Laboratories. Armed with a gameplay-essential Photon Gun, he must travel between a range of mysterious alternate dimensions, solving puzzles and facing the horrors within.
With three all-new episodes of story content, the world of INTERPOINT will become more fleshed-out than ever before with the upcoming update, and the gameplay changes should address what were (by the developer's own admission) the game's major shortcomings.
INTERPOINT's major story and gameplay update, the last before it releases out of Early Access, will release on PC via Steam in January 2021.
