Insurgency: Sandstorm Coming to PC and Console

Insurgency is a popular competitive first person shooter from developers New World Interactive. The game features close-quarter combat against opposing teams within the middle east. It was built on Valve's ever impressive Source engine and sold 2.3 million copies on Steam.

Now, in partnership with Focus Home Interactive, New World are developing Insurgency: Sandstorm for PC and Console built from the ground up using Unreal Engine 4. The developers promise to bring more intense action in this iteration which will also feature a story mode and co-op.

No gameplay or release date as of yet but stay tuned for more at a later date.
