Injustice 2 New Trailer Focuses On The Batman

Good thing nobody's doling out awards for creativity in fighting games, cause Injustice 2 has the exact same plot as Injustice 1.

On the newest trailer, Warner Bros and DC Entertainment showcase Batman's role in the narrative thread binding all the superhuman punches together. Spoilers ahead: After the events of Injustice 1, Alternative Supes manages to escape Batman's prison and recreate his tyrannical regime. Bruce once more creates a resistance to fight him, and the trailer shows the Caped Crusader and his allies -- Flash, Green Arrow, and a terrible voiced Hal Jordan -- talk about the resistance and throw punches against different people.

The trailer itself is good and contains a lot of exposition, including Green Lantern's role and the newly revealed Doctor Fate, along with the cliche "Batman is lonely and trusts nobody" story beat. Give it a watch if it catches your fancy.

Injustice 2 launches across PS4 and Xbox One on 19th of May, 2017.
