Infinite Crisis is bringing Katana in as a new champion, for fans of Arrow should be happy. Why? Read on.

Katana's origin is a simple one - her husband was murdered with his own sword, the Soultaker - by his brother. Seeking revenge, she took the sword - now believing it to hold her husbands soul - and went to fight crime.

Her real name? Tatsu Toro, her husband Maseo Toro - both featured as a part of Oliver Queen's backstory in Hong Kong from the most recent season of Arrow.

Of course, the character has also appeared in the most recent animated DC series Beware the Batman - which was cancelled after half of a season.
