Ice-T Teaming Up With Cliff Bleszinski Again

During a private plane flight home from Nevada on Easter, actor Ice-T turned to Twitter to make the time go by. During his interactions with fans, the exchanges turned into an unexpected Q&A. One fan asked how Ice-T's experience was during his voice recording session for Gears of War 3, and whether he would be part of Gears of War 4. His response was rather cryptic, though informational.

As you can see from his response. he did enjoy his time on Gears of War 3, though did not say anything about Gears of War 4. He did state that he "might" have something working with Cliff Bleszinski, as most know was heavily involved with Gears of War 1-3, beginning as the lead designer. After Gears of War 3 was released in 2011, he left Epic Games in late 2012, stating he was retiring.

At the end of June 2014, Mr. Bleszinski announced his un-retirement, and a week later officially opened his newly founded company, Boss Key Productions. The studio's first game which is still in development, BlueStreak a free-to-play shooter.

Ice-T's response about how he might be working with Cliff Bleszinski is somewhat revealing. Most of the time, a response like that means there is already a contract in place, but a Non Disclosure Agreement is in place, which they can not say anything. Whether this means Ice-T is involved in Boss Key's current project BlueStreak, or another unannounced IP, we will have to wait and see. It is cool to see that those two could be working together again.
