Hyper Universe Promises to Shake Up MOBA Scene
With how over-saturated the MOBA market has gotten over the last couple of years, it's hard for new titles to even be considered contenders in the first place.
But that doesn't stop Nexon America from trying though, as they announced they'll be bringing CWAVESOFT's new MOBA title Hyper Universe to North- and Latin America, Europe and Oceania in 2017.
According to Nexon, Hyper Universe is going to be a 2D, side-scrolling MOBA with a heavy focus on action and stylized visuals. The heroes, or 'Hypers' as they're called in the game, are promised to be diverse in both design and playstyle, in theory having a character for each player to enjoy. It also uses a two-handed keyboard control scheme, which might infer a console port later down the line.
For those interested, the game is playable at PAX South this weekend at booth 11854. If PAX is not an option this weekend, more information about upcoming tests can be found at Hyper Universe's website.

I think two-handed keyboard controls might be better than the controls Awesomenauts has, though I haven't played that game in a couple years so it might be better than I remember...
