Humble Subscribers now get Early Access to one Game a Month

Did anyone ever have that Christmas tradition where you could open one present early? You'd get all your main presents on Christmas day, but there was always the option of opening one early on Christmas eve so you didn't have to wait so long for presents? Well Pepperidge Farm Humble remembers, as that's essentially what they're doing now with the humble bundles.

Previously, subscribing would give new subscribers a game from the previous bundle to play while they were waiting for their first bundle to arrive. The trouble with this though was that it was sometimes confusing as some thought that they were meant to get the whole bundle and felt that they'd subscribed only to get just a single game. It also meant that only new subscribers were getting any kind of benefit.

To rectify this, Humble have introduced "Early Unlock". The idea of Early unlock is to give subscribers a sneek preview of the next bundle. When you join as a new or returning customer or when you pay for your next bundle if you are currently subscribed, you get one game from the next bundle right away. This month, the scheme has kicked off with Alien: Isolation and you can get yourself a copy right away, as well as get your name down for the February bundle right here.
