Hot Lap Racing Receives Patch 1.1.1 with New Support and Functionalities

Hot Lap Racing is one of the latest arcade sim racers. Developed by Zero Games Studios and published by Maximum Entertainment, players will awaken their inner champion across numerous laps to be the fastest racer! Released on the 16th of July 2024, this simcade racing experience received a brand-new updated, dubbed Patch 1.1.1, with a few much-needed functionalities for players still enjoying the experience!

First off, Steam Deck and wheel support have both arrived, meaning that the game is more portable and more immersive, depending on the brand of racer gamer you are. Though the Verified tag is still upcoming at a later date, according to the team, the title should now run smoothly with Valve's handheld device. Likewise, global wheel support is slowly being achieved — it is reported famous wheels, such as the TRS 300 Thrustmaster and the Logitech G29, are all working, but the team is still looking for more feedback and testing from players.

Gameplay-wise, a few things have changed, but some of the most impactful are online functionalities. Players can now enjoy cross-platform racing, where Nintendo Switch, Steam, and Epic Games Store players will be able to match against each other! More players means more races to be found, and alongside this, there were a few changes to Slipstream and local multiplayer, where players can now enjoy from an inside-car perspective!
