Homestuck: Hiveswap Act One Gets A Release Date
Upcoming four-part episodic point-and-click adventure based off the popular webcomic Homestuck, Hiveswap, finally has a release date.
The spin off game was in the spotlight five years ago when its creators successful raised nearly $2.5 million on Kickstarter. Now it's back and this time will a release date that looks to be set in stone. With an stylist trailer that marks the announcement the first act of Hiveswap will be releasing on 14th September for PC, Mac and Linux.
The game follows the tale of a human girl transported to an alien world. With unique responses to inventory interactions there will be plenty of the much loved Homestuck writing to be found throughout. Though not stated as a sequel to the now finished web comic, it is still designed to allow fans and newcomers alike to enjoy deeply.
The development of Hiveswap has been a rocky road as the teams changed during development but nonetheless, it's not far away now.
