The popular gaming YouTube channel, Game Grumps, has likely made you laugh over the years with its hilarious shows, or perhaps you’ve swooned over the hot dads in the studio’s hit debut title Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator. However, get ready to be spooked by its latest offering: Homebody, a nostalgic survival horror puzzler with a relentless killer on the hunt! Now available on consoles and PC, Homebody is a love letter to retro horror games and classic slasher movies, and to celebrate its launch, the Game Grumps team has released a brand-new trailer linked above.

In Homebody, an annual meteor shower has brought a group of college friends together in a remote rental house. What was supposed to be a chance to rekindle bonds quickly takes a turn for the worst when the power goes out, and a mysterious killer begins to pick them all off one by one. You play as Emily, trying to find your way out by solving the house’s devious puzzles, all while evading the killer and trying to reconnect with your friends. So much for a relaxing holiday, right?

Homebody boasts a mysterious storyline, challenging obstacles, and a retro art style paired with modern gameplay. You can play it now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
