Hell Let Loose - Update #6 for the Hardcore WWII Shooter is Live
Since its launch onto Steam Early Access in June 2019, hardcore online WWII shooter Hell Let Loose has been frequently updated by developer Black Matter. In addition to new gameplay systems, weapons and equipment, the game has added locations inspired by iconic WWII battlefields like Omaha Beach. In the latest update, a new map inspired by Hill 400 joins the roster, playable in both Offensive and Warfare modes. That's not all, however; check out what else Update #6 will add to Hell Let Loose:
- Overhaul of the ballistics system (gravity and wind now affect bullet drop).
- New hit detection system.
- Utah Beach map overhaul
- Recon vehicles
- Changes to Offensive mode.
- New commander abilities.
- New customisation items.
- Various bug fixes and optimisations.
Several visual improvements have improved the game, and these are well and truly being shown off in the new Hill 400 map. With two visual styles, overcast and misty, a variety of graphical effects are on show.
There's still more to come in the future, though. Just take a look at the studio's Early Access Update Roadmap:
