Heed to the Call of Cthulu in Gibbous

Gibbous - A Cthulhu Adventure is an adventure game with more than just a nod to the classic LucasArts games of old. Described by the developer as "Lovecraft meets Day Of The Tentacle", this is a dark comedy adventure set around a spoof of the Cthulu legend. With beautiful hand drawn graphics and a quirky sense of humour, the team at Stuck in Attic have tried hard to capture the feel of some of the classics of the genre in a game they call a"comedy point 'n click love letter to classic-era Lucas Arts adventures, Hitchcock, HP Lovecraft, and many, many other"

After ten days of voting, the game got itself a Greenlight on Steam very quickly. The Romanian development team are now hoping that Kickstarter will help them complete the game. They're looking for 22,921 Swiss Francs (about £16.5k) to complete the development of the game, which is already at an advanced stage. At the time of writing, they were two thirds of the way there, with a fortnight still to go, so the signs are promising that we will be able to play this adventure in May 2017, when it is planned to be available. In the meantime, on their Kickstarter page, they have provided a playable demo, so we can all try before we buy.
