HARVESTELLA Announcement Trailer

A trailer on Square Enix's YouTube revealed HARVESTELLA, a brand-new life simulator by the company.

In this vibrant new world, you will awaken in Lethe Village — one of the many settlements sprawled across the map — and you will be able to tend to the land. Harvest fruit, vegetables, and crops to sell to merchants or use as crafting materials to increase their benefits exponentially. Embark on journeys to other villages to explore dungeons, engage in combat, and find more materials to craft better items! 

Dungeons and monsters aren't the only things you'll encounter in each of these villages, however, as you'll also be able to find new allies to join you on your quest. Help them with their worries and face their life struggles head-on to build even stronger bonds.

Face hardships with the brand-new season, Quietus — a plague that befalls the land every year and brings about ruin, destruction, and death. Crops wither and villagers hide, making what once was a peaceful and happy town into a desolate village. To face Quietus, embark on a journey to reach the Seaslight — the four giant crystals that govern the seasons — and bring about its end.

HARVESTELLA isn't too far on the horizon either, as the game will release on the 4th of November for the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, with a physical edition coming to the former.
