Halo Wars 2 For PC Will Be Digital Only In North America

Microsoft have given an update on the status of their physical release of Halo Wars 2 for Windows 10 PC stating it will now no longer be available in North America. Deciding to focus the physical PC launch in Europe only.

THQ Nordic are assisting Microsoft with physical retail efforts and it's unclear why this change has come about. There has been no news regarding any change to the game's Xbox One physical launch, this just appears to affect the PC release.

Microsoft make it clear that Halo Wars 2 will be available digitally worldwide via the Microsoft Store when it launches on the 21st February.
